It is considered a landmark treaty as the introduction to the northern european audience the new attitudes to the artistic creation that were present in Italy during the Renaissance. Durer applied the geometry to the painting and drawings and in the same way to architecture, lettering ( design of Roman and Gothic letters are illustrated in the book) and some others ornamental forms.Pages 179 and 181 with additional strips of engraved paper representing a man looking an object.
