The organizer of the Book Fair, Nancy Bacelo (1921- 2007) was in turn the creator, in 1960, of the poetry magazine entitled Siete Poetas Hispanoamericanos, publishing twelve issues up to 1965 inclusive, in the case of an undertaking of similar nature to that of Aqua poesy, strongly linked to the experience of the Fair, which lasted until the death of the author and, then and to this day, continued in similar ways. About the community of these two cultural undertakings, the poet Enrique Fierro has pointed out that these two magazines were eclectic from the aesthetic point of view . Siete Poetas Hispanoamericanos is the first that, from its place, vindicates the link strongly worked by the literary vanguards of the early twentieth century between literature and the plastic arts. The time and artistic space of that decade was, in Montevideo, one of its slopes, marked by the presence of the Club de Grabado de Montevideo. The link between poetry and illustration, enhances the visual, verbal and sound richness that takes place from the fusion of two languages. Missing to all bibliographies.
