This is "The Metropolitan Opera Classics Library" edition of "Der Rosenkavalier" composed by Richard Strauss. The libretto was written by Hugo von Hofmannsthal ; the modern story adaptation was done by Anthony Burgess; there is an Introduction by George H. Marek. "The Metropolitan Opera Classics Library" was produced under the general editorship of Robert Sussman Stewart. This was neatly effected - but it is there. Else the covers display moderate surface rub. The spine is not creased.
