First thus, with 10 mounted colour plates and rich book decoration by Edmond Dulac. One of 500 numbered copies on Japan paper, signed by the artist in the publisher's colophon. This was also the first French edition of this work. Half leather binding with yellow and brown marbled boards. Slightly rubbed, and with a circular stain to the front leather binding. Marbled end papers. The book itself is in very good, clean condition, with the pages a little darkened to the edges.
