The corners and spine ends are very lightly bumped, there is some soiling to the covers; the spine has been light struck; the edges have some tiny dots (foxing?). The endpapers are very aged; there is a former owners name and a date of '97 in ink. The interior is also very aged, but it very readable condition with no markings; page 92 has had the top corner ripped off. 460pp.

The bindings are tight and the pages clean.The first endpaper, and possibly the last, of each book would appear to have been removed. Two of the books have tears on the last page. This is in consequence of the India paper from which they are constructed being fine. All parts of these pages are present however. One book has a neat sticker inside the cover celebrating the genius of Dickins. Four of the ten have a booksellers sticker inside the cover. One has a small inky spot on the first pages. There are no jackets.
