Heinemann. UK. 1973. Hardback with dj. First edition book. 'Spring Comes to World's End' by Monica Dickens is fourth in the 'World's End' series. Dj is bright, unclipped with lovely wraparound cover-art by Jillian Willett. Fine rub to some of the edges but very good, small nicks to top of spine do not detract from a lovely dj with wraparound art The inner flap has a light stain at bottom. Contents clean and bright - a very faint mark to bottom edge of text block. Handsome book all round. 'Spring Comes to World's End' by Monica Dickens. The author was Charles Dickens' great grand-daughter. Despite being born into a life of privilege, she gave it up to work in working class jobs. She was a humanitarian who worked with various charities as well as being a fairly prolific writer. Not ex lib etc. Packed and posted with care.
