Añadir al carritoFirst Edition. Octavo. 24cm. Publisher's pale grey cloth titled in black and gilt to spine. Dustjacket. 381pp. Lightly bumped to extremties and spine ends, a little discoloration of the cloth around the very edges not covered by the dustjacket, which is strong and clean with a couple of small closed tears, some uniform toning and light soiling. A very good copy with some signs of use. Internally clean. Nathan Leopold's rather self-serving memoir of his and Richard Loeb's great monolith of a trial before his relocation to Puerto Rico, with a spotlight on Clarence Darrow's blistering defence, and with an introduction by one man crime club Erle Stanley Gardner, who could always be relied upon to pitch you a thrilling mystery but was also a qualified and astute lawyer with an eye for a legal circus.
