Añadir al carritoHardcover. Condición: Near Fine. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Fine. 1st Edition. The book presented here is an authentically signed first UK edition, first printing of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. The book was signed at Perth Railway Station on July 11th, 2000, three days following the publication of the book, as part of her Hogwarts Express Book Tour which lasted 4 days starting at London Kings Cross Station and ending in Perth, Scotland. This book was printed by Omnia Books Limited as were the majority of copies printed in Scotland. By far most UK first printing copies were printed by Clays Ltd. Omnia printed copies of the first UK edition of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire are particularly uncommon and are extremely hard to find. They command a premium compared to copies printed by Clays. This particular copy still appears unread, with a square and tight binding and hardly any toning/browning to the page edges as you would usually see. Overall this is a near fine copy due to some bumping to the spine tip and base as well as some fading to the very top of the spine. Internally, there are no ownership inscriptions, stamps, tears or dog eared pages. The dust jacket is in fine condition with no creases and no colour fading at all. The signature comes fully authenticated by Adam Houston 'The Harry Potter Specialist' the world's leading expert in authenticating J.K. Rowling's signature. This copy comes with a full authentication package including a letter of authenticity, collector card and letter of provenance from the original owner Kirsty. Signed by Author(s).

The book presented here is a first edition, first printing of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire signed in blue pen on Saturday 8th July 2000 at Didcot Railway Centre on the same day that the book was published, meaning it was one of the very first copies to have been signed. For the launch of the book in July 2000, J.K. Rowling embarked on a four day Hogwarts Express Book Tour, setting off in a red steam train from Kings Cross Station, visiting Oxford (Didcot), Manchester, York, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Perth. Books signed on this first part of the tour are more sought after and come with Golden Tickets with the title Hogwarts Express Book Tour across the top. J.K. Rowling returned a few days later for signing events at Harrods (London), Hatchards (London), Borders Books (Brighton), Ottakers (Kent) and Books etc (London). Here golden tickets were again issued however these tickets do not have the title across the top meaning that books signed at these later events are not as collectable. The book and dust jacket presented here are in fine condition. The book is unread, the binding is tight, the boards are square with sharp corners and the pages are a bright white, clean and free from any toning, creases, marks, ownership inscriptions or writing of any kind. Añadir al carritoHardcover. Condición: Near Fine. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Near Fine. 1st Edition. First edition, first OMNIA printing of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, signed by J.K. Rowling on July 9th, 2000, on the dedication page. The book was signed at the National Railway Museum in York during Rowling's promotional tour for Goblet of Fire. To celebrate the book's release, she traveled across the UK on a specially painted red Hogwarts Express steam locomotive, stopping at key locations to meet fans. According to Errington (J.K. Rowling, A Bibliography, p. 251), Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was published on 8 July 2000 in an edition of 750,000 copies. Most were printed by Clays in England, while a smaller portion was produced by Omnia Press in Scotland, primarily for sale in Rowling's home country. Far less Omnia copies than Clays are known to have been signed, making them the most wanted ones. The book has been carefully preserved, unread, for over 24 years. It remains in a near fine condition, with only slight pushing at the spine ends and sharp corner tips. The binding is firm, with no tearing between the board and spine a common issue in Omnia printings. The pages are free from names or inscriptions, with mild browning as usual. Rowling signature expert Adam Houston (The Harry Potter Specialist), this copy comes with his Letter of Authenticity (LoA) and a collector's card containing additional details. Signed by Author(s).

First edition, second printing of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, inscribed by the author in blue ballpoint pen on the dedication page: 'To David - THANK YOU!!!, J.K. Rowling'. Almost all copies of this title were signed without inscription by the author in mid-July 2000 during the renowned Hogwarts Express promotional tour. Inscribed copies of this title are extremely rare, as only a few were given, primarily to close associates and staff members of charities in which Rowling participated. This association copy, with an explicit acknowledgment, was given by Rowling to a staff member of Maggie's Cancer Caring Centre during the exclusive Christmas book reading and signing in aid of this charity at City Hall, Candleriggs, Glasgow, on 9 December 2000, where she read to an audience of over a thousand children. Rowling was a for several years a patron of Maggie's Centres for Cancer Care. The book is in a fine condition, with bright boards, a square and tight binding, and only slightly pushed spine ends. The contents are clean throughout, without any foxing, names, or stamps. It includes a fine, unclipped dust jacket without fading or wear. The book comes with a Letter of Authenticity and a collector's card containing interesting background information provided by J.K. Rowling signature expert Adam Houston of The Harry Potter Specialist. An excellent copy, now housed in a beautiful custom-made half-leather clamshell box. Inscribed by Author(s).

The set consists of: 1) Harry Potter and the Philosopher s Stone (1997), UK hardback first edition, first printing, published by Bloomsbury. Comes with a loose Bloomsbury bookplate signed by Rowling; all first edition points present the Wendy Cooling blurb on the front panel; the rear panel bears the typo with an o missing in Philosopher s and Hogwarts School of Wizardy and Witchcraft instead of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy. Page 53 lists wand twice as called for. No dust jacket as issued. One of only 500 copies printed of which the majority (300) went into public libraries. This is NOT an ex-library copy.
