Dabei komme ich auch auf die Einflüsse der griechischen Rhetorik zu sprechen.Zum Ende gebe ich einen Ausblick auf die weitere rechtliche Entwicklung der behandelten Streitfrage in Rom und über die heutige Regelung, bevor ich mit meinem persönlichen Fazit in der Sache abschließe.Die 'Causa Curiana' wird auch der 'Prozess des Curius' genannt und ist ein berühmter Erbschaftsstreit, der im 1. Jahrhundert v. Chr. vor dem Zentumviralgericht in Rom verhandelt wurde. Ob sich der Fall nun 93 oder doch 92 v. Chr. ereignet hat, ist nicht abschließend geklärt. Es kann jedoch festgehalten werden, dass er in die Zeit Sullas fällt und somit in der ausgehenden Republik stattfand.In dem 'Prozess des Curius', der so genannt wird, obwohl gar nicht er, Manius Curius, sondern ein gewisser Marcus Coponius der Kläger war, hatte ersterer eine Erbschaft in Besitz genommen, die Coponius nun vor dem zuständigen Zentumviralgericht herausverlangte, weil er sich für den rechtmäßigen Erben hielt.
