Añadir al carritoSoft cover. Condición: Near Fine. B/W Photographs Ilustrador. First Edition. The author of these 240 pages has broken the city into ten zones and discusses the attractions of each. Perhaps the book is carried more by its b/w maps than its photographs. This early addition was made to fit a rucksack pocket. History snippets here and there. LEARN more about : Stewart House, McDonald Bridge, Heron Flats, Britannia, Sandy Beach, Princess Obolensky, Lindsay's Folly, and Edworthy Park. The b/w photo on page 187 shows the spider's web at Lindsay Park - I presume it has been a victim of time. Cond : Card wrapper is white with black lettering. Front cover colour photo is of five cyclists in Riley Park - autumn leaves on the ground. Tight, bright, square, and clean. No names nor marks. Excellent city reference from a previous decade. Quote (p. 76) : " When Fort Calgary was built and the problem of whiskey traders under control, the NWMP prepared for the arrival of the CPR Railway and the thousands of settlers the train was expected to bring to ._._._. ."{ Size: 12mo.
