Widely regarded as one of the first studies to attempt to have a scientific focus. Mackal was a research scientist with a grounding in Biology and Zoology, hence the insistence on the scientific approach taken here. Pages are excellent: no markings, no inscriptions or notes, no stickers or stamps. DJ is unclipped and is very good: no missing segments, clean and fully intact, just the slightest shelfwear and a few minute indents on cover. Profusely illustrated.
