Colourful stylised design by the graphic artist Guy Georget (1911-1992) showing a black and white line image of a policeman directing the traffic in front of a policeman on a motorbike in the centre against a blue and red background to evoke the colours of the French flag, the text in yellow letters above and below with the coat of arms of the Paris Police Department. Printed by Services Techniques de la Prefecture de Paris. Good condition, folds, staining, minor tears in left and bottom margins, creases. Size: 75.5x56.5.

The poster includes a 'koinobori', which means a fish-kite or carp-streamer in Japanese. Koinobori windsocks are traditionally flown in Japan to celebrate the children's day holiday of "Tango no sekku" in the month of May.

Very good condition, minor restoration to folds and small tears, backed on linen. Size: 99x62.

An original vintage advertising poster for Air Frances trips to Italy.We see a carnival character playing the mandolin, in the background, a gondola and its gondolier as well as the bell tower of Saint Mark, a symbolic monument of Venice. Overall size approx 98.5cm x 61cm. Condition is excellent and has never been framed.Guy Georget(1911 - 1992). Very little is known about this artist. Georgets first commercial posters appear in the late 1940s. Hired by the tourist boards, the artist produced posters tempting people to visit Spain in which you see the influence of Picasso and Georges Braque.In 1960, Georget was awarded aprestigious commission which would please any graphic artist andmdash; he was selected to design the logo of Frances venerable Postal Service La Poste. During this period, he also worked for Air France, another prestigious post for graphic artists of the time.
