A Margot Sponer tocoulle no Terceiro Reich vivir unha violencia extrema fronte á que nunca se someteu. Neste estudo inténtase reconstruír, de maneira entrecortada ?os datos son irregulares?, unha vida de investigación, pero tamén de dignidade, de respecto e de axuda aos demais que a levou a participar na resistencia contra o nazismo en Alemaña. Apórtase documentación sobre a preparación do seus traballos en Galicia en 1926, sobre a súa elaboración e presentación en Berlín en 1935.
