Based on the 1934 novel by Gabriel Chevallier, about a little town conflicted by the construction of a public urinal, so the military intervenes to restore order, but the local women seem to be distracting them. Chevallier spent many of his holiday in the village of Vaux-en-Beaujolais, the cozy little vineyard town he used as inspiration for the novel. There are museums in Vaux-en-Beaujolais featuring Chevallier's personal archives, theatrical rides with characters from the novel, and even a urinal with fantastic panoramic views. A story set and shot in France. 8 x 10 inches. Very Good plus, with creasing to the extremities, a few tiny bruises, and 1 still with a tiny piece of cello tape.
