Very Good, 3/4 black leather binding, blind ruled, 5 raised bands, 6 compartments, title in gilt on second to top compartment, author and volume number in gilt on 4th to top compartment, all outer hinges expertly repaired with Japanese tissue, some loss to leather board corners, mildly brittle leather spine, some rub marks along board edges, lightly sunned pages, binding sturdy, color frontis-plate of "Two Pterdactyls together with toothed sea-birds" (Vol.1) and "The Man of the Great Plains" (Vol.2)., repaired open tear title page (Vol.1), some handling/rub marks to text block edges, TEG with few blemishes/rub marks, without Dust wrapper.
