Jaime Jaramillo is a geophysical and petroleum engineer who dedicates a large part of his life to rescuing and rehabilitating children who live in the Colombian streets and sewers. In 1991 he received the World Peace and Justice prize together with Mother Therese from Calcutta granted by the Christian Brothers University.
