FM 2-0 is the Army's field manual for military intelligence (MI) doctrine. It describes: the fundamentals of intelligence operations; the operational environment (OE); intelligence in unified action; the Intelligence Battlefield Operating System (BOS); intelligence considerations in strategic readiness; the intelligence process; and roles and functions in Army operations. (This manual conforms to the doctrine presented in FM 3-0 Operations).
