The new U.S. Ski Team: Alpine Ski Fundamentals Level 100 (Club Coach) Clinic Manual will provide new and experienced coaches with a powerful resource that will help them plan their season, and practices, and teach the basic skills to good skiing and racing. The manual is part of the USSA's new coaches education program that has been revised to reflect the USST's new approach and philosophy to teaching skiing fundamentals. The Manual contains five main sections: 1) An introduction to expanding role of ski coaches. 2) The USST methodology and approach to coaching. 3) The structural framework and key concepts of the fundamentals. 4) Descriptions of the 5 fundamental areas, and the key drills used to teach them. 5) Forms to assist coaches in developing camp plans, lesson plans, drill plans, as well as useful glossary of terms
