Biografía del autor
Julie’s own happy marriage of thirty-one years is to a very patient man, David, who says he is the rat in her marriage laboratory. David and Julie have six children, ages twenty-nine to nineteen. But next to family, Julie’s passion is helping women with their marriages, their weight problems (Skinny School: Where Women Learn the Secrets to Finally Get Thin Forever is available at Amazon), and their fight for a life of joy in the Lord. Although she has a master’s degree in marriage and family counseling, Julie insists that the women in her groups—as well as reading ogles of books—have been her most significant teachers. On any given day, you can find her writing in her bedroom, meeting with women, cooking (Paleo), going to the gym (still an effort), or texting her kids (even if they don’t always text back).
